I work 17 hour days, outdoors in 90+ degrees with very high humidity as an actor. This stuff doesn’t budge. I have had sweat pouring down my face and dripping off my nose and this stuff stays perfect – no touch ups. I blot my sweat off constantly, I’ve been rained on, running sweat and high humidity and this stuff is amazing. This is better than stage makeup and sets itself perfectly. I’m replacing all makeups in my kits with this!!!
Purchased my normal shade, but it’s nowhere close to matching.
I’ve been trying so many different foundations and always end up using my ol reliable clinique acne solutions.. this one will now be one I use frequently. The coverage is just right. My skin is very oily so I do still set this foundation. I hope urban decay keeps this one and does not do a reformulation because this agrees with my sensitive/oily skin. Also the color match is so good i was surprised lol
I have been on a personal journey trying to find a foundation that actually matches my skin tone after my OG holy grail color and formula was discontinued (different brand) I had never seen this foundation before but the unique bottle was super interesting so I figured it wouldnt hurt to grab it. It arrived and did happen to explode a little bit upon opening (elevation change) once I got the little leakage under control I applied it directly with my fingertips and it blended out beautifully! The color match is absolute perfection and I think that can be attributed to the extended range of colors but also how buildable this formula is! I can do a light coat that makes it look like my skin but better and I can build it up for a more full coverage look. I will admit that this will attach like a magnet to any dry patches so be sure to exfoliate, moisturize and prime if you have combination skin. With that aside this stuff stays FOREVER. I can wear it for a full 15 hours with only the very slightest bit of oil peaking through by the time I am ready to wash off. It feels weightless and sets beautifully without powder. Absolute perfection!
I’ve been typically using either zero foundation or super-cheap drugstore garbage foundation and concealers as foundation in a pinch. When Vine suggested Urban Decay to me, I was on this product in a heartbeat. I watched Urban Decay’s birth a long time ago and I’m thrilled to say I finally understand why. This stuff applies like velvet. It’s a literal cloud. You can’t feel it when you daub with a sponge applicator, and it’s so, so nice. I picked 03, light warm, and was skeptical – this product really rewards you. It stays put as soon as it’s on, dries immediately, and it doesn’t budge. I went out running, then did martial arts all afternoon. This stuff stays put, even with sweat pouring off of you. No transfer at all into your sweat.. Incredible.This stuff is what Aphrodite wears. You need it. Get it! A little goes a LONG way, unlike with cheaper stuff, and I got a spread of a 1 x 1″ swatch on my arm with an amount the size of a pinhead vs the gobs’ worth from other brands. Urban Decay IS where it’s at, and this performance can’t be beat!
I have used a lot of Urban Decay makeup over the years. I love their eyeshadows (most of the Naked palettes are amazing), and their lipliners. They are the best of the best in my opinion. So I decided I’d give this foundation a try. This foundation is described as “a buildable medium coverage foundation with self-setting powder that absorbs sweat and sebum for a natural-looking matte finish. Get long-lasting coverage that is both smudge-proof and transfer-resistant for up to 24 hours.” I would say it is light coverage, not sure about it buing buildable as i went for a light makeup day so I only applied one layer. It does feel powdery after it dries. It self sets and it is a very dry finish. I have dry skin so I recommend moisturizing and priming under this foundation if you have skin like mine. As far as the rest of the claims, I agree that it is smudge proof and transfer resistant as it a very dry and matte finish. I don’t think it is more long lasting than many other foundations. It is ok but not to the level of what I think of when I see it’s Urban Decay, and as compared to their other products I keep in my makeup collection.
Urban Decay has been one of my favorite brands for a long time because their products are truly phenomenal and high quality, and once again they came through. I cannot rave enough about this incredible, waterproof foundation. It’s amazing and exactly what I need for summer and my upcoming vacation. I can say goodbye to setting my foundation with powder, this revolutionary foundation does that for me and lasts all day long, through humidity, water activities, sweat, and pretty much everything. Not only does it last, it makes my skin look absolutely amazing, radiant, smooth and hydrated. It doesn’t bring out my pores or get cakey throughout the day. I have normal to combination skin and always set my makeup with powder, so I was worried I’d look oily midway through the day in my t-zone area, yet I didn’t. This foundation is that good, it controlled oil and kept me looking flawless and oil-free all day long. Another huge bonus, it actually came in my exact color shade, which is sometimes hard to find for us olive-skin/ Mediterranean girlies. I can’t recommend it enough.
I’m loving this new foundation. I’ve used it for two days now and I love the buildable coverage. This foundation has a natural medium coverage with a matte finish that does not emphasize my pores. It looks gorgeous, and the color selection is amazing. My favorite thing about this foundation is the fact that it’s waterproof and that it lasts without me having to retouch throughout the day. My skin and makeup look gorgeous from the time I apply this foundation until I remove it. I’ve had it on both days for 8 hours and got so many compliments on my makeup and flawless looks. I love that this foundation also works well with other products like concealer. One downside is that it dries too quickly, so blending could be a bit difficult. Overall, I prefer to work with a small amount and keep building so it doesn’t dry up and my foundation looks even and not patchy.
