Use the rounded sides to blend larger areas of your face, the precision tip to cover blemishes and imperfections and the flat edge to contour around your eyes and nose, leaving you with a complexion that’s smooth, enhanced and gorgeous! Best when used dry. Rinse through with lukewarm water after each use. Deep clean once per week with makeup sponge cleanser. Dab on a dot of your favorite makeup sponge cleanser. Add water and gently squeeze to lather. Rinse the sponge with water. Air dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area. Store in a cool, dry place. Ensure to replace your sponge every 30 uses.

This is such a unique sponge but I’m not complaining my makeup looks pretty smooth, I can’t tell if it’s makes it look “more dry” though. Also, it picks up SO much powder even with a small tap, but that’s not really an issue for me
I’ve used the basic sponges for years and my cousin told me about this one. It does a phenomenal job and doesn’t suck up the foundation like some others I’ve used. Will buy again

The best beauty blender dupe soft and airy
Unfortunately this ended up being the opposite texture of what I was hoping for. It’s more spongey feeling. I tend to like the denser feeling and this is quite soft and squishy. I’ll probably still use it for setting powder but if you prefer the denser blenders then this may be too soft for you.
I bought this cause my youngest daughter has destroyed all my other ones (the orange one)! This one is a different material than the original orange ones & it blends concealer effortlessly. I’ve only ever used this one dry, but always used the orange ones wet. I will continue to buy this over the orange one as it soaks up less product, so there’s less waste & it blends WAY better than the orange ones! I don’t know how long it’ll last, granted I’ve only had it about a week & it’s held up just fine so far. It’s very light, soft & easy to squeeze where as the orange ones are more firm I guess you’d say. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this blender for concealer & foundation. I’m hoping my little doesn’t get ahold of this one but it’s impossible to keep stuff “up” from her (she’s 8)! I purchased another one to hide just in case lol 😂
I like that these sponges can be slightly damp when using. It helps makeup set better. Make sure to wash it on a regular basis with dawn soap and water. It will last longer!
I absolutely adore these makeup sponges! They are not like makeup sponges I’ve had before, but rather they really do blend and perfect your foundation and other cream and liquid products, its amazing!I start off by using warm water to soak my sponge and then i gently squeeze out the excess water. Then I go ahead and apply my primer with the short long side and let it soak into my skin. It is nice because at this stage the sponge is most wet, so it makes my primer glide on effortlessly since they can be sort of thick, it also makes use of a tiny amount of product over my whole face, so I really do recommend it for this use. After I let my primer soak in I add my foundation using the longer side of the sponge. In places that need extra coverage I can go ahead and use the flat side to sort of blot in a little more coverage and have it still look smooth without caking on a ton of product. If you need concealer the pointed tip is great for around your eyes, nostrils, and typical redness areas that tend to be harder to get into. The flat end works good on my chin too if it happens to be red (which it often is). After I put my blush, highlighter, or bronzer on I will go over the edges with the long side that I previously used for foundation to help blend it effortlessly. It makes for a polished look with minimal effort. Be careful if you have a lot of product still on there if you do this. Usually by the time I’m done with my foundation there isn’t much left in the sponge, so keep this in mind!If you have a cream blush I have found you can use the sharp angle coming off the flat end (and long side) to dip into a cream blush in a pinch and feather it out beautifully. I restrain from doing this too often as I find blush color harder to get out.To clean my sponge I simply get it nice and soaked and use some antibacterial liquid handsoap to clean it….nothing fancy and it works well. Just make sure to get out the excess soap before you use it on your skin again! So easy to use, so easy to clean, I really do love these! I like to pick them up when ulta has online sales (as I haven’t found them in store anywhere)!
If you’re anything like me, you care about your make up not looking caked on and fake. I’m relatively new to the latest makeup trends, but it became very evident to me that a blending sponge is a must have in the daily essentials kit. I’m also the type of online shopper who reads the reviews before making a purchase, especially when it comes to something that is going to touch my face. The RT sponge is just wonderful! Allow me to break it down for you:First, let’s talk price: In comparison to the BeautyBlender (because I’m sure you know about it) this sponge is significantly less expensive, I believe the BeautyBlender hovers around $20 where the RT sponge was just under $10. Don’t be fooled however, the RT sponge may be short on cash, but it is not short on performance.Size: The RT sponge is rather large, about the size of a small(er) lemon. However, the size assures you that you will get optimum coverage, and I think contributes to the flawless finish.Material: The material of the RealTechniques Sponge reminds me of a memory foam pillow. It’s soft to the touch and smooth on the skin. Simply wonderful. The sponge does expand some when it is wet, but not too much. For me, it was just enough! Wetting the sponge contributes to the dewey look I prefer, a vibrant, fresh skin, natural look. One thing I have to say about the RT sponge is it seems to hold water a bit. This isn’t a terrible thing, I’d simply recommend allowing it to dry overnight (after cleaning) if you need to use the sponge dry.Shape: The sponge is shaped like a lemon, with one flat, angled edge. The rounded edges are great for blending in foundation on the cheeks or larger areas, where the flat edge is perfect for blending in concealer or areas around the eyes and nose. There’s a pointed tip at one end, which is suggested for blending in blemish control (small precise spots). In regard to some of the negative reviews, I can see how the edges of the sponge may fray with a significant amount of use, however, I think it’s all about how well you treat your sponge. If you leave it laying around, or banging in the bottom of your cosmetic case, it’s going to rip. If you keep it safely in your beauty bag, I think the lifespan of this sponge could really surprise you.All in all, this sponge seems to be fantastic,it really does deliver a flawless finish.L
It was sorta rough feeling. Did the job though.
