Good mascara
I ordered through Amazon to save a few dollars over grocery store price. I have used Maybelline mascara most of my life. Occasionally I have gone to other names, Mary Kay, L’Oréal and even paid for high dollar better than sex mascara. But I always come back to Maybelline. And I have tried many within the brand. I used the regular “falsies” for quite a while. But, always being on the search for my go to mascara, I usually try others. I am 70 years old. I used to have pretty nice lashes, long and fairly thick. But, as we age, many things change. Including lashes. I also have very straight lashes that need to be curled, otherwise, what’s the use of mascara. There are some mascaras that straighten out my curled lashes! I really hate that! Another fun part of aging lashes, they’re hard to get a good curl. After finding a curler that heats and does a very nice job on my lashes I want a great mascara to enhance what I have to deal with. I usually use a couple of different mascaras but today I gave the new surreal line a try all by itself. I have to say I’m pretty happy with it. It gave good length and some volume. I didn’t find it to be overly clumpy but I think you will get that from pretty much any mascara. I keep a small lash separator handy for just that reason. Let’s face it. There is no such perfect mascara. They can all be clumpy especially when applying multiple layers. I expect certain issues with every mascara. It’s just how it is. Those who search for perfection will always find some fault. And if you really expect to get the look of real falsies, probably no mascara can do that unless you use seven layers. So, IMO, this is a good product that I will buy again.

Maybelline always impresses with their mascara
When I first got this I absolutely loved it. It didn’t smudge on me, lifted and separated my lashes perfectly and made them appear thicker. Over time the product thickens A LOT, most mascaras do a little when they dry out over time but are still workable. This one ends up getting too clumpy and hard to work with as it is used more and more. A brand new tube is the best ! Too bad the product doesn’t perform the way it does when you fresh open a new tube.

Love this mascara .
Love this waterproof mascara. They really meant it when they said waterproof because this is hard to get to off. If you don’t have makeup wipes, good luck! Other than that, it makes my lashes nice & voluminous . They look so pretty & they last all day. I even slept with it (Ik i shouldn’t I was exhausted) and it still looked like I just applied it.

Bad packaging ruins the product
I debated how many stars to give this because the mascara itself is decent. It does thicken and lengthen the look of my lashes and once it’s on it doesn’t run or smudge. The problem, and reason I’ll never buy it again, is the tube. Most mascara tubes have a slim opening to wipe off excess product when you pull the wand out. This tube does not have that so the wand is always goopy and clumpy. It makes applying difficult and results in clumps on your lashes and the need to do clean up around your eyes every time. It’s messy and irritating. If they improve the packaging, this would be a great mascara.

Its super black colored. Def gets to all my lashes and doesnt clump. Worth the money, it applies very nicely on the lashes. Double coated looks so good!

Surprising Value for Money
I was hesitant at first, but Maybelline’s The Falsies Surreal Extensions really impressed me. It gives great length and volume without clumping, and for the price, it’s a fantastic deal. Definitely worth trying!
