Impressed with this powder. I purchased the translucent pink. It minimized the look of my pores and gives a soft blurred effect. I am 58 and I don’t find it heavy or powdery looking.

I’m really impressed with the L’Oréal Infallible Blur-Fection Loose Setting Powder! It feels lightweight on the skin and gives my makeup a smooth, soft-focus finish without looking cakey. Very gentle subtle powder
I have fair skin and wrinkles so l tend to avoid powders. However, l do like L’Oreal products in general so I took a chance on the light pink.I do like it. Just a very little is all l need to set my foundation; a very light tap with a brush and then dust away any excess. It does not leave a heavy powder feel and so far, it’s not accentuating my lines and it does help nose pores disappear. The price is reasonable.

Excellent Setting Powder—Just Needs Better Packaging
I bought the Infallible Blur-fection Longwear Loose Setting Powder in 20 Light Translucent, and I use it as the finishing step after applying the rest of my makeup. Some days I wear foundation, and other days I use DRMTLGY Tinted Moisturizer. It works great with both.It controls shine in my T-zone really well, especially around my nose, forehead, and chin. It gives my skin a soft, natural finish without looking heavy or cakey. I even use a light dusting under my eyes, where you might think a loose powder would settle into fine lines, but it works great as long as you don’t apply too much.I like how well this powder blurs the appearance of large pores. My pores look much smoother and far less noticeable after I apply it. That is kind of a big deal!I also have sensitive, acne-prone skin that tends to react to new products, but this powder hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts. I even use it over small blemishes or areas of redness, and it helps those spots blend in much better with the rest of my makeup.It lasts all day, looks invisible on my skin, and doesn’t settle into fine lines or look powdery, as long as you apply it lightly.The only reason I took off one star is the packaging. The holes in the container are so small that it’s difficult to get enough product into the lid. Before I use it, I have to turn the container upside down with the lid on and tap it against the counter several times. It works, but it’s a bit of a hassle.

Fantastic product!!!
I’m not easily impressed and admittedly rely on reviews from others. An item needs to move me one way or the other to get a review from me. It was less than a month ago that I reviewed three skincare products that were no better than mediocre. This product really works. it’s not chalky, cakey or heavy and didn’t add color. Eight hours later, it’s still working. That’s nine hours of control.I read comments about the powder holes size. I just sprinkled a small amount across my palm and patted it on then followed with a powder brush. No waste, just results without changing the look..TBH it’s a little scary because now I wonder if it’s going to end up on some banned list. Seriously though – if you’re seeking some shine control that blurs because like me, you’re using a tinted moisturizer that leaves you a bit more “glowy” than you prefer – fret no more. With this, you control the look which lasts all day.What was most difficult was deciding on a color. I’m a light-medium most months and probably could have done just as well with a pink but played it safe & selected light translucent. No idea if I chose correctly. When I run out I may give pink a try. This translucent did not alter my tinted moisturizer color but it did brighten it a bit. It’s perfect for me too – a person that doesn’t want to call attention to imperfections. I’d bet it will work well on nearly any complexion. Very pleased with the purchase and I highly recommend it!

When you set your makeup with this powder, your skin looks like it has a filter on it.
I have open pores, and ever since I started using this setting powder, my pores look much less visible. It looks just like a filter; it doesn’t dry out my skin or cause my makeup to crack.
