This is my absolute favorite setting powder. I’ve used it for several years, trying others intermittently, and it is the best. A light touch lasts all day even in the Arizona heat. Why did you pick this product vs others?:The powder is ultra fine so it’s super lightweight. As a 60+ woman I don’t like heavy powders that settle in lines and looks harsh. This is the smaller size which still lasts me months and I love the eyeshadow that came with it. The color is soft with a nice sheen. Goes on smooth and wears well. A definite win-win.

I have extremely oily skin! This powder is the only thing I have ever found to control the oil. I also have aged skin with wrinkles, the powder doesn’t sit in them. The rose gold eye shadow is creamy with lots of pigment. Goes smoothly. It says on the box it’s a mini size for both products, but the powder looks full size! Love these two products, highly recommend them.

I’ve never tried Laura Mercier Setting Powder until now. It’s fantastic. I bought it in the Pink color because my skin is so fair and all yellow tinted powders show up on my face very jaundice like – This was such a pleasant experience. The powder is very light and airy as it should be, and takes away all shine. I’ve worn it over makeup to set and I’ve worn it alone to have a “no makeup” look – with just some light blush. I was a little disappointed not to see a powder-puff included, but they sell that separately. No worries, I normally use a large fluffly brush for my loose powder anyways (so it doesn’t cake). I would recommend this powder to anyone who has pink undertones in their skin.

This is definitely one of the better setting powders out there! It sets my makeup beautifully, blurs pores, and gives a smooth, soft-matte finish without looking cakey. It keeps shine under control and helps my makeup last all day. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can look a little dry under the eyes if I’m not super hydrated or careful when applying. Still, overall, amazing quality and a staple in my makeup routine!
