It wasn’t until an IT Cosmetics salesperson showed me how to use this that I really learned it’s value (so go to ULTA and ask for the IT person—there’s a little blending brush that makes all the difference) and now it’s a staple for me. I wear medium shade in both the foundation and the concealer (which I thought might be wrong but it works) and it really helps to take those bags under my eyes out. Make sure to use VERY sparingly (put a dot on your hand and mix it around first) and to blend blend blend then let it air dry for a bit before setting with powder. (Elf makes the best setting powder as far as I’m concerned and I have a lot of powders.) Set with a brush that isn’t too dense otherwise you’ll get too much powder in a wet place and it’ll clump. Less is more, just build it until you get it right. Won’t be without this stuff!
Sorry in advance if this is a long review but WOW. I ran out of my usual concealer and ordered this one in a pinch, just expecting to use this as an emergency backup after my usual concealer arrived. Plot twist — I didn’t re-order my usual concealer. This concealer was the answer to my concealer prayers and I discovered it totally by chance. My under eyes are very hard to work with and conceal. The skin is insanely thin, which makes them appear concave and you can see straight through to where the blood naturally pool under my eyes, making my under eyes actually black-looking. I’m often asked if I’m sick when I don’t have on concealer — that’s how bad my under eyes are. This stuff covered it like a dream in one layer. It felt like I was putting a filter on in real life. I got a compliment from my date on my skin. That NEVER happens to me and it was only after discovering this concealer. I’m not exaggerating when I say this stuff is like a filter in a tube. A little goes a long way and it goes on like pure silk and can be used with not only full-coverage foundation, but light-coverage foundations and tinted moisturizers alike, because of how natural it looks. I’ll never, ever, ever use another concealer. Period. Just buy it because this review doesn’t even do it proper justice.

I’m not a fan of the sticky texture and after a few minutes it leaves creases even with the tiniest amount applied. However I have extremely dark circles and it covers them almost completely. I’m not a fan of the creasing but since I don’t look dead anymore I will likely keep using it. I only need the tiniest dot and it provides full coverage. It does need to warm up on the skin to be applied easier. The sticky texture does go away after about an hour or so. I keep rubbing the creased area and after about an hour it’s no longer an issue. I does seem to stay on most of the day if I don’t rub my eyes. I also have sensitive skin and most makeup makes me itchy but this doesn’t.
Just received my ‘little’ tube of Bye, Bye Undereye Concealer and I am VERY excited. I have fought dark circles all my life and this is a ‘miracle in a tube’ for me! Even my hubby was surprised and noticed the difference immediately and exclaimed that it was the first time a product has actually worked! A little dab will do … based on prior reviews I was extremely cautious with the amount and everyone was right. It covers very well with minimal product. Please do not hesitate to try this product. It is a game changer!
This stuff really works! I have major under eye circles (thank you heredity). I have tried so many products over the years that I can’t even begin to count. This product provides great coverage. No, the dark circles are not going to completely disappear, however, they will be significantly reduced. I squeeze a small dot onto the tip of my ring finger then rub together with the other ring finger to warm up the product (which smooths it out also) I dab it under my eyes then blend with a small make-up sponge. It also works well on other dark spots on my face. I will continue to use this cover up and I would highly recommend to others.
This is the best concealer I’ve ever used! I have always had dark circles under my eyes and have always had a hard time finding a concealer that would cover them, until I used this concealer. It blends beautifully with your skin tone. It’s light but also covers/ conceals any dark spots and dark circles and looks completely natural! Not cakey or think. I’ll never need to look for another concealer again!
