I don’t understand how to use this thang it’s made of plastic I wish the seller could contact me. I paid over 16$ for this & can’t get the lip liner to come out😩

not mauve-y to me..
i have pale, cool skinthe actual formula is great and buttery, so easy to put on. it took some scrubbing with micellar water to get the swatch off my hand, so there is some staying power.the color is more like a pinky-coral to me, not a pinky mauve. i think of cool tones when i think of mauve, but this seems more warm/neutral to me? its a pretty color tho, just not what i was expecting. sadly i don’t have a use for it. take this with a grain of salt.theres no scent which is great, you can sharpen this with a pencil sharpener, the casing seems more plastic-y, not wood.5 stars cuz its a good product, but the colors shown aren’t accurate to what i have photos of.

one of the best wearing liners
The product itself is really nice. It’s creamy, easy to blend and as it dries it’s very smudge resistant and doesn’t really budge which I love.I have yet to sharpen it which I’m dreading based on the reviews however the dual sharpener from La Femme I’ve had for years doesn’t seem to have an issue sharpening these types of plastic-y pencils when you use the larger end.The colors look darker online. I would have liked to see swatches on actual people but NYX doesn’t have these swatched. I thought “Sugar Glass” and “Nude suede shoes” would be around the same depth. I wanted a lipliner close to my actual lip color to get that sort of lip filler type of look.I thought I’d love NSS but it’s lighter than SG and pulls a sort of baby pink on me so that was a bit disappointing. The NSS packaging color looks darker which made me think it would be a more medium nude-pink but it’s pretty light. SG is pretty good but a tad light/too peachy nude so I’ll try some of the other nudes. I’m about C35 in Mac, yellow-green undertone.

This is not a twist up Pencil!!!
This product is OK although it does seem like it’s a twist up pencil but it’s not. This pencil can be sharpened with a standard pencil sharpener. But the tip does break easy, so beware of that. It’s creamy and does seem to last quite a while

Does not look like the pictures.
Though I like this brand and these lip liners, the color does not look as pictured. It is a dark purple color. In the picture it looks like it has some grey in it but it does not. I have found with this brand that the colors pictured frequently look nothing like what is pictured so be aware.

GARBAGE to the Nth degree
If there was a way to rate this negative stars, I’d give it negative 100. This is by FAR the very worst lip pencil I have ever used. It’s tough to sharpen, breaks ridiculously easily, requires TONS of pressure to create even the incredibly patchy results I finally managed. It’s absolute garbage. My only advice is that if you make the mistake of buying it, give it to the coworker you hate for Secret Santa. This is unforgivably poor quality.
