So, the Bushy Brow pen thingy definitely takes some practice. At least for me. In my opinion, it’s one of those “less is more” things. The first time I went a little overboard and my youngest daughter was like, “Umm, Mom. The brows are kinda….well, did you look in the mirror when you did them??” A little too bushy, I think. Yeah, a light hand is definitely needed. But when you get it right, it’s impactful, to say the least.Completely natural looking and I’m kinda shocked at the number of compliments I’ve received on my brows. Straight up strangers asking if they’re microbladed and who does them. I’m like, really no one does them, I just color them at home, gel or soap to shape and my Lime Crime pen thingy” Inevitably I hear something like “you were just blessed with great brows”. Ummm, no. My brows are thin and patchy and so white they blend into my pale skin to the point that I look like an amoeba. I tint the hair I have, use growth serum and Lime Crime now provides my stunning “natural” brows. Lasts all day. Drys somewhat quickly, but not so quickly that if I make a mistake on the direction or size of the “flick” I can’t smudge it away. Once it’s dry though, it’s in place for the duration. Washes away during my double cleanse with no problems. Worn 12+ hours in considerable heat, (90’s with swamp-like humidity) and there was definite sweating going on. Still looked flawless. I haven’t taken it for a test-drive through an intense workout or anything, but I’m fairly certain it will hold its own. The color is definitely a cool brown. It skews gray/brown rather than red/brown. I’m not sure how I feel about the color yet. I’m going to order the Dirty Blonde shade to see if I have a preference. I love how easy and natural this little guy makes the whole brow process. It was nothing for me to spend 20-30 minutes frittering and cussing at my brows before. I’m never going back to that. EVER.

Unfortunately I love this pen for doing hair like strokes. the color is right on but the price oh my gosh really because this doesn’t last forever it does dry out. And it goes very quickly I must say. So just know that when you’re purchasing it it’s not like you’re going to be able to use it for long long amount of time. Like everything else that dries out but for some reason this seemed to dry out more quickly than others that I have. that are less money I might add.I definitely think they could come down on the price a bit. Lime crime what are you doing? Please make this more affordable. It’s really no different than any other felt tip eyebrow implement. But the price sure is.

Blonds will love the blond eyebrow pen. This one is my 3rd purchase. I have light sparse eyebrows. These pens are great for drawing individual eyebrow hairs.

I love the very fine point on this brow pen and this color is a true neutral shade. The first time I used it I got the hang of it right away and my brows were on point. I proceeded to get dressed but when I did a final mirror check, I was shocked that all the lovely feathery stokes had smeared all over the place and I wasn’t even out of the darn house yet. So I did my brows all over again, which granted was pretty fast using this brow pen, but after a 15 minute car ride (this is the summer btw), I looked in the rear view mirror and my brows were GONE!! I was stuck away from home with no other brow product available to remedy the situation. And trust me, my brows are now almost white so invisible and without some kind of brow product, I look like an alien. I was going to a haircut appointment and was really embarrassed since I’m usually quite well put together. But not that day and I have this stupid Lime Crime brow pen to thank for it. The Urban Decay Brow Blade, Glossier Brow Flick and the Stila brow pen are all really great and all totally waterproof and manage to stay on even in the intense florida heat and humidity. So don’t waste your coin on this Lime Crime brow pen. yes, their shades are great as is the super fine tip, which does indeed make doing a feathery brow very easy. But if it disappears, what good is it??? I returned it and wrote Lime Crime about my experience so perhaps they’ll make it truly waterproof. But until they do, spend your money on one of the other great brow pens I mentioned. Plus I think Milani has one now that has gotten really good reviews.

The color on the ad/ amazon listing is more pumpkin and more red than the actual color of the pomade brow pencil. The pomade is great, staying power, doesn’t move but the color is too cool and too brown. I guess I will stick with NYX for the red eyebrow pencil.

Love the color but it bleeds if your a sweater, I accidentally tough my brows a lot and it does smear but the color is beautiful

Love!!! Just know this color is darker then baby brown. More like auburn brown… I have blonde eyebrows and thought this would add some depth. I use it to add a feathered look to the front of my eye brow, and to make a tip at the end. Well worth it!UPDATE: it’s 5/8/2020 and there’s still product in this pen! It is not waterproof/sweat proof. And I learned to do my eyebrows before foundation. The tip won’t get clumped up with foundation & I kind of noticed my foundation turned the product into a green brown? So I cleaned the tip, and no more green. 👏🏻

I hate doing my brows when I put on my makeup. I have been looking for a brow pomade pencil that is quick to use and natural. It took me probably 2 minutes to do my brows and they look perfect! I saw another reviewer said it looks like natural looking microbladed brows and that is accurate! Way better than Too Faced pomade in a pen and it’s also $11 cheaper. Would definitely recommend for those looking for natural looking but perfect brows.

Best colour for a blonde
Most eyebrow products I have used are very red toned even though they say that they are for blondes. This one I use in the shade dirty blonde, and it’s a perfect match to the darker tones of my hair. It’s draws a very thin line . All in all a perfect brow pen
